In the framework of the series of discussions "Connect with the GENvironment, Friday conversations with an environmental expert," the Geneva Environment Network (GEN) invites you on 14 May to meet Alice Tipping, Lead, Fisheries Subsidies at the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Photographer Nanna Heitmann immortalized those fish caught by ice fishermen in 2019.

On 11 May 2021, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Central Tracing Agency (CTA), the ICRC and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) organize the high-level online discussion "Transforming the global response for missing persons" with the participation of Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councilor, and head of the FDFA and Peter Maurer, President of the ICRC. This moving scene of a reunited family took place in July 2016 in the Makamba province, Burundi.

On 22 March 2021, World Water Day, the Geneva Cities Hub and UN-Habitat organize, in collaboration with the Geneva Water Hub, the online debate "Water & Sanitation in the City: Good & Bad experiences, what are the lessons?" On Wednesday, 3 March, the IUCN will host two Ministerial panels on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Recovery. In 2017, the photojournalist Patrick Zachmann reported the work and lives of the Cambimba Village's farmers, Morroa, Colombia, supported by the FAO.
