Swiss Network for International Studies - SNIS

The Swiss Network for International Studies promotes academic research on phenomena and issues that transcend traditional nation-state boundaries. The SNIS supports research projects in the framework of an annual call for proposals, organises conferences and workshops on issues related to international studies. Two distinguished prizes award young researchers for their outstanding work. Headquartered in Geneva, the SNIS seeks to develop synergies between academic disciplines on the one hand and between institutions of higher education in Switzerland on the other. As a genuine actor of “International Geneva”, the SNIS favours the participation of International and Non-Governmental Organizations, with the aim of building a network.
