"The Fondation pour Genève was founded in 1976 and is a private, non-political and non-religious organisation recognised as of public benefit. It works, in particular, on the international positioning of the region, welcoming internationals and their spouses, developing initiatives that encourage dialogue and the exchange of ideas and finally managing its humanist funds. The Fondation pour Genève initiates, promotes, coordination and supports initiatives that contribute to Geneva's traditions of hospitality and openness to the world."
